Privacy Policy
This policy describes the categories of account, operational, and support data that SmartAPIs.net may process to run the service securely and reliably.
1. Data we may collect
- Account data such as name, email address, organization metadata, and billing identifiers.
- Operational data such as API key identifiers, request metadata, usage counters, and audit events.
- Customer-submitted data such as support requests, correction requests, and account-management inputs.
2. Data we do not intentionally collect
- Private browsing activity unrelated to the service.
- Personal contact lists or private user messages unrelated to support.
- End-user precise location tracking as a core platform behavior.
3. How data is used
SmartAPIs.net may use collected data to authenticate API requests, enforce entitlements and quotas, operate subscriptions and billing, investigate abuse, maintain service reliability, and provide support.
4. Service providers and infrastructure
SmartAPIs.net does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by vendors needed to operate the service, including Stripe for billing and Google Cloud for hosting, storage, and runtime operations.
5. Security and retention
The service uses HTTPS, scoped API keys, audit logging, role separation, and secret storage outside source control. Operational and security records may be retained for fraud detection, debugging, billing reconciliation, and incident response. More exact retention periods should be finalized before general launch.
6. Cookies and browser storage
Cookie-specific disclosures are maintained on the Cookie Policy page. If non-essential cookies or trackers are introduced later, SmartAPIs.net should add consent handling where required before activating them.
